Ahhh,, officially it is done. The hard work of two years, beating dengue, typhoid, those long days with books and sleepless nights, frustrating days, emotional stress, and so many emotions which cant be expressed…all finally came down to this.
At this point, I couldn’t come down to any resolutions, or targets and any ambitions. But this poem written by Shri Rabindranath Tagore almost a century ago comes to mind.
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake
So apt even today. Perhaps I would say I would do my best to build that heaven of freedom. Like ‘Udatha-Bhakthi'(Squirrel’s devotion to Lord Rama while building the Sethu bridge) I will give my small effort in this…
Congrats sir…
Best luck for the new journey..🙂🙂
